<p>@studarch, I’m in the LA area by the LBC. This has been my ideal school for the past 3 years (oh yeah I’ve done my time at cc), but the longer they take they take the better UCM looks…haha. What’s your backup plan?</p>

<p>just called…they said it means waitlisted. i really didnt want to believe the emails that everyone got, but i guess it’s true. 
i asked if we’ll ever know and they said we will this week…but who knows…</p>
<p>i just called and argued with applications office. i asked to know where on the wait list I am and when I am going to know my true status. they simply told me I am not allowed to not hat information and that it can not be disclosed to me. This is so fishy. How can I not know my standing on my application? I asked her why I couldnt know where I was on the “wait list” and she said that she couldnt tell me and she couldnt tell me what that ment? the woman i talked to refused to transfer me to anyone else. When I asked why I couldnt speak to anyone else she told me they would tell me the same thing. I kept telling her I they need to be honest with us and that they cant keep playing games. After continually insisting on speaking to someone who is dealing with my application, she told me they were in meetings. I then asked her why they were in meetings and not reviewing apps and she told me she had to end the phone call.
sorry if this is disjointed but they are pretty much refusing to tell the truth and were justifying themselves by saying its due to impaction and the budget crisis when its just them not wanting to make tough choices. this is outrageous</p>
<p>I was never even considered. They still have not even processed my transcripts. It would be nice to know what the real qualifications were. I am seriously wondering if they just decided to only accept freshmen this semester. </p>
<p>I think we should all get our application fees back since they were never even considering any of us and I’m sure our applications were never even reviewed.</p>
<p>I think there were a few transfer students admitted. I’m still pending for Mechanical Enginering. I’m thinking of calling the ME dept tomorrow to see whats up. If Pomona doesn’t accept me, then I have to make plans to move up to UCM :P</p>

<p>I just received the acceptance email today, except there is nothing about the SIR on it. Anyone have info on this? I don’t want to bug the admissions office again, they are probably really busy, but if I don’t find out I will have to call tomorrow morning. Deadline is almost here.</p>

My application status was “ready for review” since the time they received my transcripts in late January.
It changed to “referred to impacted plan” about 2.5 weeks ago.
Finally, yesterday, it changed to “admitted clear.”
Letter was just emailed now.</p>
<p>This was for transfer to mechanical engineering from RCC and Chaffey with GPA somewhere between 3.75 and 3.8.</p>

<p>Somewhere between 3.75 and 3.8. There were some classes I am not sure were counted as transferable or not so that’s why I give the range. I put 3.75 on my application.</p>
