I had a friend that received his acceptance in May last year… After he metricated to CSULA, but he managed to change over to CPP.

@ davidthefat

Do you know his gpa and major that got him accepted in MAY?

IDK IM FREAKIN OUT RITENOW
STILL SAYS APPLICATION RECIEVED - aerospace engineering

@raindroprose To tell the truth we weren’t checking the portal so we found out when the letter came.

@MomAnxiety I really wish they would have let us choose the campus. I would have preferred SLO to Pomona. We don’t live far and I wanted her to have the far away experience.

Anybody have experience with Provisional Admit? My D didn’t shine like we hoped in senior year. Will they really rescind? When will the college tell us?

My understanding is that you can not get any D’s and must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA or you might be rescinded.

Mine has said application complete forever now, is anyone else like this?

I’m still in the “Application Complete” phase as well… Time…

I think that everyone below a 3.6 GPA is on “application received” and that the rest of us will all be waitlisted because of those budget cuts…

I really hope I’m dead wrong

Tum, I don’t know if your theory holds up, but I have a 3.2 and my application is “referred to impacted plan” so supposedly it’s currently being reviewed by the biology department.

I’m also a transfer student, not a FTF, so that might be the difference.

It’s not uncommon for a person with around a 3.0 GPA (and doesn’t live in service area) to be accepted, provided that your major is not impacted. Having an upward trend in your GPA helps too.

Nothing really much more we can do besides wait…

Thankfully, I have spring break after this Thursday and I have a little more than a week to kick back and hopefully get a decision sometime during my break. I am anxious because I’ve been accepted everywhere else and am holding out for this one school since I’m not sure about my financial aid awards at a private university I applied to out of state yet. That’s also coming in the mail. Honestly, I hope I get into CPP. Great price for a good education.

I’d really like to send in my admission deposit/ SIR so I can hold a seat at one of my other universities already. May 1st is drawing ever near.

So I am not the only one who is yet to hear from CPP. Lol. I’m an architecture major. I’ve gotten into Virginia Tech, Penn State, Kansas State, Baylor U, and N. Arizona U but rejected by SLO. I just wasn’t meant to stay in California :/

^ Maybe that’s a good thing. While it’s nice to stay near home, it can be even more fun to go somewhere new and exciting and live on your own for the first time.

Hey my fellow applicants,
I called them today and they said the latest to get a final decission will be April 15th, so hopefully we’ll get an answer by that day.
ughhhh… can’t wait anyyy moreee!!! :/

For those who are still application recieved can you guys post your stats just to kind of see where we all are at? Along with major?
