<p>Has anyone done or heard of KEI study abroad/internship in scientific research in Pune, India?
[KEI</a> Study Abroad & Intern Abroad in Pune, India<a href="btw">/url</a> it moved to Pune, India. It used to be in Thailand... Yes, I know it's on this webpage already but what is the quality of this program?</p>

<p>How about UConn Mentor Connection?

on these forums, but nobody really went into detail...
Do you get to conduct your own research or do you get assigned things to do?</p>

<p>The thing is, I would like to conduct my own research instead of getting assigned things to do. My interest is in biology, more specifically molecular biology and immunology.
Would it be better to just ask for an independent internship (non program based)?
I am a rising junior.</p>
