Im a senior in high school and I wasn’t accepted into cal state fullerton direct entry nursing program so they changed my major to undeclared. How does the nursing pathway work? Can I still attend fullerton and take nursing prerequisites and apply to the nursing program after? As an undeclared student
Yes, you can attend CSUF and the pre-req classes for Nursing and then apply to the Nursing program. Nursing students will have priority at the pre-req courses so make sure you are flexible when registering for your courses.
Also the pathway is very competitive so you want top grades.
The Traditional BSN (CSUF Student Pathway) is for current CSUF students who are interested in pursuing a Registered Nurse (RN) license and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Once admitted, this program is three years in length. PLEASE NOTE: Only 5-10 students will be admitted into this program each Fall.
