Hi, I recently got an offer for Baker Hughes to go as a field engineer intern. They were my first choice and I am excited to go to the oil field. Can any previous interns give me any advice on things I should do to get ready for the field? Even if you interned at Halliburton, Weatherford, SLB, NOV, etc. your insight is appreciated. Also if anyone is reading this and wants to know about my experience interviewing with them etc, I will be happy to give advice. I remember this site was a great resource for me dealing with the college application process and I want to help some other people.

Also, what do they pay? This was really a non issue for me, but its nice to know. I haven't been told about pay yet.
