<p>I know we have a topic on what it is, but I want to know if anyone has gotten in yet? I thought we were supposed to get it before bulldog days?</p>
<p>I believe I read some Yale literature recently that says you will get some literature about the program this summer, you apply, and then selections are made from there.</p>

<p>i think a girl from my school was automatically accepted when she got her likely letter (the letter stated that yale is saving a spot for her in the directed studies program).</p>
<p>Yes. THere are people that already got in from the RA round. Remember, it's only 125 spots, and only a portion of that will fill w/o applications.</p>
<p>I am pretty sure that they fill the whole 125 w/o applications. It's just some people choose not to attend Yale and those who do don't always choose to do Directed Studies.</p>

<p>i was already admitted to the program. my 'rents and i went and talked to the director during bulldog days, and she said that they already admitted 25 to the program, and are leaving 100 spots open for application. they do send out info in the summer for those who want to apply</p>
<p>Wait, at bulldog days, a speaker said they admitted 50 students already. Eitherway, it's really small.</p>
<p>i've decided i don't want to do directed studies anyway, i've fashioned my own DS (splitting the lit and the philosophy up over fresh/soph years so i can take more language)</p>
