Someone told me they have good services. Anyone know from experience?

I looked at their music and history departments and they have good things. And it isn't that far away, Mom won't freak (lol). I also saw that they don't require SATs if you have a 3.5 or better, which I do. That is a good thing, because I just got my scores back. A retake is definitely happening in the fall!

It's a state school so I figure the Financial Aid isn't good. But what about to out of state students?

S is attending George Mason in the fall - OOS. He was classified in HS and received time and a half on exams. The Disability Office in Mason told me he wasn’t needy enough to continue this in college. I hope this isn’t a huge problem. They have a learning services center that helps with organization and study skills and they offer seminars throughout the year that are open to all students. I don’t think that Mason is a great choice for an LD student however. It is a great school - has many things that interest my son. However, it doesn’t receive high marks in LD services.
