Someone came to one of my classes and had everyone fill out a little something for a management internship.

Well a woman called me today and started asking me questions and then asked me I can meet her tomorrow. She told me to bring any other friends interested. Right then and there, im like ***? I said w/e and said i'd meet her. I come home and research it and it looks like a scam. Anyone know anything? Def. not going to this. Im seeing much on how this is, im confused as to why RU would let them go around campus marketing themselves.

yanks if you have doubts about this place I would speak to the instructor of that class. Ask if he personally invited them to speak and why.

I have the same questions as you do and I am a parent. It seems like any group is allowed to send marketing materials through the Rutgers email system and that gives the students the impression that all of these groups are worthy of consideration.

Is it the painting thing? There are several posts about it on College Confidential that you can find by googling. I would just get any job on my own rather than go through a place that wants you to recruit friends.
