Anyone know of a school that offers a program for both business and design?

Hey everyone! I was wondering if there were any schools that offered a program like Babson’s Technology, Entrepreneurship and Design concentration/major. Looking for well-regarded schools that feature both good design and business/entrepreneurship programs that are able to somehow have students combine the school.

USC’s Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy fits the bill too but might be too far away as I live in VA. Also looking at places such as U Mich’s Stamp school and Stanford’s Product Design major.

I have the most interest in product and and interaction design, and would prefer a business like program that centers around new ways of thinking (Like an entrepreneurship major).

Anyone know of any other colleges that have these interesting forms of interdisciplinary programs? Please help!

You might take a look at Drexel.

I was also going to suggest Drexel

MICA/JHU, Parsons, CCA, Philadelphia U all have joint or integrated MBA/Strategic Design programs. These are all on the graduate level.

RIT has New Media Marketing as a major and lots of design or engineering minors - or tons of design majors and Entrepreneurship or Digital Business as minors.

Illinois institute of technology’s institute of design’s dual degree MBA/MFA.

My best friend is working with an entrepreneurial group of Drexel students doing some design work in gamification and educational simulation. Just because of my friend’s enthusiasm about these students and their professor, I’d put Drexel at the top of my list. Not sure exactly which program is the one involved, though.

@Jookes WashU. They have all three that you are looking for: Architecture, design and Business. You can easily double major or minor. They have a really great program and the school is awesome too. The best thing is you don’t have to pick your major until sophomore year and you end up taking three courses with the Art majors too. So you can decide later what major to pursue.

MCAD in Minneapolis has a business component.
