Anyone know of combined Bachelors/Masters for Comp Sci in the USA?

I was looking into cambridge, which I love, but it is a pretty big reach for me. I really liked the idea of their joint bachelor's/masters degree if you add the year for most of their programs.... and it seems like a big UK thing to do as I look around other UK schools' websites.

Anyone know of good american schools that offer this? I know that a lot of people look down on the combined degrees like they are worth less, but I would love to pursue it still. Or Canadian schools, I am a dual citizen.

I know pepperdine (and a lot of schools) have programs like that for business degrees, but I can't find much information about computer science in the United States... anyone want to help me?

My stats won't get me into an ivy league very easily, but I think I can get into a tier below that.

Any suggestions?

There are many schools which have these kinds of degrees. Look for co-terminal degrees. I know that my school, Illinois Tech, has a number that involve Computer Science and so do other AITU schools. RPI started having them some time ago.

UC Berkeley does this for EECS: <a href=“Five Year Master of Science (5th Yr M.S.) | EECS at UC Berkeley”>Five Year Master of Science (5th Yr M.S.) | EECS at UC Berkeley;

edit: it appears to also be available to Berkeley L&S CS students as well.

I found tons of these programs in my search. I wouldn’t use it as a limiting search, but rather get a list of good CS schools and narrow it down using that BS/MS criteria. Chances are, you may not even lose half the list doing that.

Some schools I know offhand that offer it in that tier: Northeastern, WPI, UNC, UMD, WUSTL, U of Washington, multiple UC’s.

Point being, many schools offer this.
