Hello, I'm going to be a high school senior. During my freshmen year I did pretty good but than I did horrible sophmore, and than junior year was ok. I was wondering if anyone was admitted to Marshall with a gpa of around 3.0-3.1. I was wondering what your sats were; sat, sat II's, ecs, etc. My father and uncle both attended usc. I also have a great uncle who is chairmen of the board in the engineering department and also another family member who is a professor in the dentistry department. Given my background I was wondering if I have a shot at Marshall, and If anyone else was accepted with a gpa close to mine? Thanks in advance.

It is very rare that someone with that GPA would have been admitted to Marshall. Given your relatively large "legacy," you may have somewhat of a shot at being admitted. But don't be surprised if you don't get in. Hopefully your EC's are really amazing; then you may have a good shot at getting admitted.

How about with a very high sat score? 2220+

Anyone? Bizumper cars...

What's your current SAT score?

If your SAT score is 2200 plus then yeah, you would probably get in. you'd also need good EC's to seal the deal.
