I hope it isn't much later than May 31...if the person that Jimmy2588 called said "in a few weeks," that implies that it could be longer than that. :(

"Usually the applicant pool is small enough that the decisions could be made relatively quickly."

this might mean the pool is big. I mean LAC's seem to be a huge transfer target this year. I remember the main reason I still applied to Bowdoin and Amherst were the >10% acceptance rates. But this year, both took really small numbers out of over 200.

I really hope williams is still consistent.. or better. i got into penn today, but would much rather go to williams.

I applied to Williams although I'm an int'l (since I got a social 3 months ago). I'm praying for leniency on their part and luck on God's. Amen.

which college do you currently attend, andrea?

I was planning on applying for transfer to Vassar, Haverford and Williams (3 schools I was accepted to last year) but then figured, since I really was aiming for Vassar and was stressed out enough as it is, with the acceptance rates being what they were, figured it was probably a waste of time and money. I got into Vassar on Thursday, so no regrets, although if I hadn't got in I would probably be agonizing over this decision the rest of my life. Good luck to the rest of you.

are you going to wait for williams? or are you going to vassar for sure?

Doesn't sound like s/he even applied.

oops. i misunderstood the post.

Going to Vassar for sure. I started the Williams app, was about halfway done with it, and then just gave up and ended up only sending in that one application. So yeah, no worries.

"which college do you currently attend, andrea?"

Unfortunately, I do not attend a top LAC or anything of the sort. That will probably be a strike against me. :(
