Anyone pass WUSTL first round?

No. I hate Duke, Rice is too close to home, and I don't have any real excuse for Northwestern other than I'm lazy and didn't have a special attraction to it.

Others that have been admitted to WashU: have you gotten confirmation of your enrollment deposit and have any of you received your university email address and ID? I'm wondering how we go about getting those.

i just got my stuff confirmed today, so i dunno, i should probbaly hear back form them by the end of the week (hopefully)

I just send my acceptance form today...(I hate myself for being so lazy). To unccharlotte, I hate all the schools you listed. Maybe not hate, but they have nothing to attract me.

Is there anyone who got accepted to WUSTL (CAS) intending to double major in the business school?

My enrollment deposit was confirmed today, so I at least have WashU in the bag for sure. :) I'm doubling, but both are within CAS (Econ/Philosophy).

i'm doubling bio and history

As of right now, I'm doubling Political Economy & math. But I only hve to take about 4 more math classes to get my major. So I am thinking of majoring in international business. I'm not sure if that going to delay my graduation date.

im starting from scratch for my history major, but i'm actually a bit ahead (i think) for bio, because im taking the class now that washu kids take in the spring.

you know you are in for the time of your life as a bio major, right? Good luck socializing. ;)

I got to agree with brand. UNless you want to attend med school, majoring in bio is a killer. I wish you the best of luck because I know i would die.

haha im thinkin of going hte med school route so yeah \, im getting into a lot :( tho im taking 21 units this quarter at UCI (yeah yeah it's not as tough as wustl, i know :P ) and w/ research, im still finding lots of down time, so let's hope washu bio won't blow me away (completley).

Hm..I'm doubling Econ and Urban Studies. I'm trying to decide whether to go for French or Italian as my language.

I'd LOVE to go for the Oxford or LSE study abroad for Econ...but totally wouldn't mind spending a semester in Milan. Fashion shows every weekend. But not for the fashion, of course.

hahaha you sly old dog...

i'd like to study abroad too, but I think i'll save that for after undergrad, like a Fulbright or something (yeah i know, it's ridiuclously tough, but we can all dream :D ).

About the Fullbright, what is it? I know it is some kind of fellowship, can someone go indept about this although I can always google it?

eh it's like a one year fellowship in almost any country in the world (except like warzones) where you conduct some sort of community project/study at one of the colleges there

They have received all my materials (reflected on the status page) so when should I expect to hear back from them?

i got an email the day after they received all of it, saying you'll get more stuff as time goes by

Ah! Gotcha. I just want my new facebook. Haha... (lame, I know)

I just thought that I'd take a minute to post that I was just accepted to study abroad at University College London! I am so excited, and I want transfer students to know that it IS possible to study abroad as a transfer.

just checked wash u's website for the 100th time and...I got accepted for the fall of '07!!!!!

wohoo! congrats!
