Hello all,
I am an international student in BCIS (Beijing City International School). I am going into my senior year, and I am quite nervous about college admissions. So straight to the point: my top three choices, in order, for university are Indiana University, UBC (in Canada) and Boston University. I would like to major in accounting (so I want to go to the Kelley School of Business). These are some basic information:
- For the SAT, I scored a 1950 (I am hoping to increase that)
- Critical Reading and Math scores for SAT add up to 1330
- For the TOEFL, I scored a 116/120
- My GPA is hard to calculate (on a 4.0 scale) since I am apart of the IB program, but I think it would be around 3.6
- I take Math SL, and my grade is a 6/7
- I have been in a basketball team, been apart of music concerts and have a diverse CAS portfolio
If more information is needed to help me, and please do, let me know. I know that teacher recommendations and college essays will be important, but I have faith in myself that I will do well on those. Please help, because I am very passionate about these universities, and it would mean the world to me to get into one of those. Also, could anyone tell me if SAT II tests are required for my major in these universities? I don’t think I will have the time to do them…
