Anyone still waiting for the letters?

<p>Is there anyone else that didn't get their letters yet? Most of my friends got accepted and I'm starting to worry that they are gonna start sending out more and more rejections and very few acceptances...:/</p>

<p>Yeah, they send you an email telling you that your “application status has changed,” telling you to go visit the portal to see your decision.
Heard there was another wave today, so don’t worry guys! Your letters will come soon enough :)</p>

<p>My son’s portal changed around 11PM last night. The email came in early this morning.</p>

<p>@jamestg: Where exactly is it posted? Is it right when you log in on that front page or do you have to go into messages?</p>

<p>You’ll know it when you see it. As soon as you logon to UCINet, you should see “You have been admitted to UC Irvine!” right at the top. Followed by Your Admission Summary and Your deadline is MMDDYYY to . . . Good luck y’all.</p>

<p>Yes, as jamestg mentioned, as soon as you log on there’s a LOT more writing. In case you’re interested, here’s what comes after “You have been admitted to UC Irvine!”</p>

<p>Your deadline is 05/01/2012 to:

  • Accept our offer of admission (SIR) and apply for housing

  • Decline our offer of admission</p>

<p>Then a lot more stuff about Orientation and Academic Advising, and also Things to do.</p>

<p>I am still waiting. I am in at both Cal Poly’s for computer engineering and will probably go to one of them but still I would like my decision, and hopefully a good one.</p>

<p>One more thing, does UCI send acceptances AND rejections around the same time? I mean are there only a specific amount of waves that only sends acceptances while the rest after that are rejections? For example, is it possible to receive an acceptance letter on March 30?</p>

<p>@maxillarymola - yes, UCI still sends out actual letters but they follow at least a week after the email/portal change.</p>
