<p>i think Stanford sends the emails out based on who they reviewed first. Obviously they look at the deferred ppls at the very end so thats why we r the last batch to recieve. The still waiting RD ppls are probably ones they reviewed last too. Did you RD ppls submit ur applications at the very last minute?</p>
<p>I submitted mine RD a few weeks before the deadline, somewhere around December 10th through the Common App. I still haven't received an email.</p>
<p>Some people are claiming that rejection letters say that no regular hardcopy mail messages are being sent to people being rejected. Would someone type exactly what that part of the rejection letter said? Then we know not to wait too close to the mailbox.</p>
<p>it's ironic how i live about 15 mins away from Stanford and I still haven't received ANYTHING...ARRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...i'm rd and i submitted it on Dec 30th..so yea it was last minute...</p>
<p>I don't deferred had anything to do with it because my son was deferred in Dec and he recvd his denial yesterday at 4pm</p>

<p>That's the same letter they sent to the early kids. I remember my friend talking about it (he got rejected SCEA)..."'I only wish we had room for everyone with talent and energy like yours'...my ass! They would've accepted me then!"</p>
