I hope these last batch of emails aren't all rejections....because it seems like all the people who have gotten their emails today are rejects. :/

^I was thinking about that as well.... I haven't really seen anything other than rejections in the recent posts on the outcomes here on CC.

My friend just got his by going to his spam inbox. He, too, got rejected, though we can't say exactly when the e-mail came through.

lol, i'm starting to think i was already rejected back in december, and that i've just been deluding myself since then...
seriously, though, lets hope there's more than just rejection left

the one i know that came today was a waitlist... so it shouldn't be all rejections

hahahah imagine ending up on the waitlist!!!

Also keep in mind that very few people have received their decision today that we know of, and of course the majority of decisions are rejections, followed by waitlists, then acceptances.

So it's been a little more than 22 hours...

I thought there was some Constitutional Amendment that prohibited "cruel and unusual" punishment...D-:

has anyone called Stanford? i heard they work on saturdays too... somebody might answer

Does anyone else think that their e-mail may have been sent, but blocked by their filter? My hight school requires us to use our school e-mail for college stuff, and it has blocked e-mails from colleges before. Anyone else worried about this?

We called the Stanford admissions office, and there was a recording that said to call back on Monday if a decision still has not been received

I'm worried that they just forgot about us.

ddstudent - That might sound plausible, except a lot of people with normal email addresses (I've taken off filters) also haven't received anything.

It's still possible for you though.

Haha, yes, the eighth amendment of the Bill of rights.

Haha, yeah, I know. This is worse than waterboarding!

guys... let me tell u whats going on at the stanford admission office so ur not all wondering.

my brother is a stanford student and he contacted the stanford admission office to find out whats going on. The automated computer that's sending out the emails has crashed because there were too many. They're still sending the emails out but at a very slow pace.

Yea... it's ganna take a while. And no, they didnt save all the rejects for last.

sparkecrash, THANK YOU!

You just relieved my mind... I was wondering what was going on!

thanks for that sparkeecrash, we appreciate the info. glad to know theres still hope before monday.

sparkeecrash, this question might be kind of a long shot, but does he by any chance know if they are being sent out in some sort of order?
