waiting sucks… while you do not receive any emails…
I hate this waiting.

I’m a transfer, so I’ll probably be waiting until May. I don’t think I’ll last haha.

I still haven’t got mine in San Francisco even though I got both emails…all my friends have theirs so I’m worried they accepted me on accident or something haha. this is horrible!

Waiting in Los Angeles… no emails.

Still nothing here in Georgia. I guess I really have to wait until April 1st =/

Got both emails, but no package in the mail yet in Kentucky ):

Waiting too! nothing… I’m in Beirut, Lebanon. no email…

still waiting.
Haven’t heard from NYU since November when i applied…
God.

guys
i got no travel email + first acceptance email, nor any letter
I"m an international student
i just got notified via email that i have been waitlisted for NYU stern
so i think people who did not get any emails so far have been waitlisted
but i think this year’s waitlist won’ be too bad…considering that a lot of people won’t be able to afford NYU and will head towards other schools (public/state)

Umm, NYU doesn’t waitlist.

(I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure I’m right)

haha you kidding?
It says on their website that they do have a waitlist :P

The people who didn’t get ANYTHING til’ now are rejected. Happened last year.

I sure hope im not rejected

Got rejected today. Didn’t receive any emails, so I guess it was somewhat expected.

@Lobzz That’s not true. Only SOME people received the email and some of those people haven’t even gotten their packet yet either. Also, why would they send out acceptances first, then rejections? That would mean they would have separated the letters into two piles, and take up even more time. Wouldn’t it make more sense to send it out all at once? I read someone’s post on here, and they called and ask and the person they spoke with even said it wouldn’t make sense to send the letters out like that.

still nothing here in NYC

Didn’t recieve anything today. Bye NYU. I am rejected I know it. This is so lame. I actually thought I had a good chance here, how am I even supposed to get into my ivies now?

@hardworker…how can you give up that easily? NYU said they’d mail it out to receive the letter on or around April 1st and according to my calendar it’s not April 1st. Plus, I called and they said even into next week people would be receiving letters, so don’t lose hope just because it seems like everyone around you is getting in and you’re not because you’re not the only one still waiting.

I called the office yesterday and they said that ALL decisions were sent out together (on 3/26). So acceptances and rejections were sent out together…

I know but I don’t seem to even believe what they say anymore. I’ve called them and others I know have called them, and it seems like everytime someone calls we get a conflicting response.

Honestly, I think this is extremely unprofessional. Either they need more staff to help them control all their applications or they need a better system for their applicants. After I find out my decision, I am writing them a letter.

This whole e-mail scenario is killing us and now for the fact that I waited so many days in a row just to get a freaking rejection letter and it still hasn’t arrived is just so annoying.

Whatever. Now I have to concentrate on my decisions tomorrow…which judging from how things have been going for me are most likely going to be rejections too.
