Anyone suddenly switched graduation years?

I am talking about if you decided midway through college the particular college/degree is not you and you want to make a switch. How do you do this if transferring isn't the best option.
Or even if you flunked out..I need to know.

I know my friend flunked out of SEMO his first year (with a...... .07 GPA0_o). He decided to go back home for community college and redo everything. He would be class of 2012, but he's probably gonna be '13 or '14.

Anyone experience this or might? How do you feel when you are suddenly out of the "traditional" age.

I guess I'm asking this because I want more options in my college choice, and my current college doesn't provide that. They just got rid of the degree program I was in (I switched majors and want to go back) and now I am kind of stuck.

I switched froom Comp Sci to Business and want to go back (I love business, but an undergrad degree is NOT practical).

Yup. I was supposed to be 2012 but I would now be 2013 or 2014 after my transfer.

This somewhat applies to me and a buddy of mine. Right after graduation both of us got deployed for Iraq 08-09. Now that were back all of the people we graduated with will be juniors this year and were only just starting. We both agreed it sucks.

I changed majors a couple times, and it pushed my graduation from May 2010 to May 2011. It happens to a lot of people, for hundreds of different reasons, and I don’t feel weird about it. I’m just going an extra year and that’s fine with me.

It’s much more common than you probably think. I’ve transferred twice and switched my major twice, so my graduation date has been pushed back quite a bit.

The only part that may suck is that feeling of senioritis in high school, seems like nothing compared to having that same feeling for another two years. I’m sure a lot of people start getting stir crazy.
