appealing?

I know it's like <1% chance of getting admitted, but it can't hurt...sigh.

I really want to, I forgot to add that I’m legacy (Don’t ask me how I forgot, college app season was one big blur to me)…but I don’t even know if UCLA is the type of school that would care. I know people who got admitted from my state that are pretty crappy students (and one has a criminal record- DUIs, Pot Possession), so that’s what ticks me off. It’s a long drawn out process, so I don’t know if I will, but I’m definitely considering it.

It’s not.

Good to know. So I think I’m going to skip the hassle, but good luck to you! (To the original poster)

Just try it anyways

im appealing as well. I want to know why and how come. I want to check to see if I was given the points I deserved. And so on.

IIRC UCLA doesn’t go by the point system.

chances of appealing is 1 in 1200. good luck

^where did you get that statistic?

I know it’s solely based on the specific applicant, but does anybody have the actual appeals statistics from last year? How many people appealed, how many were accepted?
Sigh…

I’m a legacy, too, but I don’t think they take that into consideration.

less than five percent are accepted via appeal.

^ you can try to make an important story out of how you’re a legacy…
idk. I’m just so bummed right now, instead of doing homework, I’m trying to think of what I can appeal with…
