Anyone tried Amazon Mechanical Turk?

Random question but I feel like a few college kids might have given it a shot. I have a job but Mechanical Turk seems like a cool way to make a little extra money in your free time. Anyone had positive or negative experiences with it? This might not be the best discussion group or even website for this question but the Cafe seems pretty open and it would be cool to get opinions of those in similar situations. Thanks!

I did some surveys for awhile that were fun, and made a few bucks. A lot of them were university research studies. If I broke down the hourly pay rate it probably wouldn’t have been worth it, but it was a good way to make a few extra bucks when I would have just been watching TV. It’s been at least a year since I did anything there, so it might be different now.
