Lemme explain myself
My dream school is Stanford, but any good school on west coast is good. I need to go to a good/famous/or prestigious school because... family thing and also when i was younger i didnt do well in school (my first straight As were gr.8) and some people who do well in school (usually my mom's friends' daughters) think that im stupid cuz i swim and not study but i want to get into better college then them and show that you dont have to be a nerd and not have a life to go there (also to say 'in your face!'). It's absolutely needed that i get into UCLA even though ill probably not go there... My second choice would be CIT...
I swim year round.. 15-20 hrs a week... not good enough to swim for college but good enough to go to states and hopefully be captain this year/next year... ive been swimming forever so im just swimming the next two years just for the heck of it (even though its super painful)
When i apply for college, i want to write about swimming and what it taught me...
I dont have a lot of volunteer time yet but i'm sure I can get at least 100 hrs this year; im hoping to volunteer at a hospital my mom works at (any advices about this?) im also volunteering at the poor i swim at.. its our team's pool we own it...
Im going to work as a lifeguard there also
Next summer, I might me going to CA and i will have a chance to look around and stuff
My like ultimate goal in life is to make a lot of money so that i can pursue my dream of design (the reason im not going to do design for the main job is because i dont want to be poor) so im planning to may be minor in art or design
I'm interested in pretty much everything except languages...
I havent found my passion yet! :(
When i get recommendations im planning to get one by my swim coach

I really want to go to interviews for the schools, but i heard Stanford doesnt count it? is that right??
I'm going to apply to all Ivy league b/c you never know...
any suggestions/advices would be awesome... thank you!

(omg this post is humungo)
