Job:
I don't have work permit, but my mother was able to find me 2 people who needed help on IELTS, so I helped them study for it by correcting their grammar, improving their pronounciation, writing sample answers, etc. Both have been studying for a long time and have failed all of them, but they both finally passed on IELTS after I helped them, which was very very unexpected, but I'm glad I was of some help.
This job was done during school year for about 2 months, 10-15 hours/week average.

Schools Applying To:
Stanford
NYU
Georgetown
University of Toronto
University of Waterloo
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UC Irvine
Boston University

Recs... I'm not so sure.. I've always been a pretty quiet student
but evidently worked hard and for Calculus, always asked questions.
Especially since I've known these teachers for the 1 year when I was adjusting to my new school, I feel I haven't opened up and shown them my everything.

Frankly, I don't think my academic record or leadership is very impressive..
But I am going to talk about my apparently transient highschool life in my essay,
how it has made me grow and shaped me into the person I am today.

Thanks in advance!!

Stanford - Pretty high reach
NYU - match, low reach
Georgetown - reach
University of Toronto - low reach / match
University of Waterloo - pretty much in
UC Berkeley - reach
UCLA - match, low reach
UC Irvine - match. low reach
Boston University - match. low reach

thanks a lot…
anyone else?

ugh one think stuck out to me. Do you guys have a different weighing scale because your UW gpa is higher than your Weighted. I think that Stanford is super reach, UC’s you have a pretty good shot, but your GPA will hurt your chances.

oh oops my bad!
I switched the W and UW gpas…
