<p>I wanted to get some opinions on it before I opened an account.
Its SmarterBuck, where you can set up a checking account (SmarterBank) and get a debit card and you get a certain percent back on purchases to go towards your student loans. Apparently others can help too and donate.<br>
Also, I don't have a student loan just yet, was hoping to get a jump on it with this. Tried to email them but it failed. Anyone know if you are required to give that info when you join? Or maybe its just when you "redeem" your bucks?

<p>If you can’t find sufficient info about this…don’t do it. Open a student account at a credit union…you will get the same things. Check banks in your town…some of them might also offer accounts for college students.</p>
