Anyone want to read my personal statement?

Hello, I apologize for starting another topic but i have one question about the personal statement. I'm going to pick this one: Tell us a story from your life, describing an experience that either demonstrates your character or helped to shape it.

So, i wrote my essay that i really really like about wanting to become a filmmaker and what inspired me...is this a bad essay? Since UW isn't a film school, but i mean i still want to go to UW but will they think, "this kid didn't answer the prompt correctly"? I mean, it does say describe an experience that demonstrates my character and i think this does it well.

Oh by the way, does anyone want to read over my essay? I hope i can trust you guys lol.

It’s a pretty open question designed to get a good response from you. It’s up to you to find an experience that answers the prompt’s question. If you feel like the story about your film making best demonstrates your character then I think you should go for it. I think you need to write about something you’re passionate about. Trust me, it will show in your writing. Be specific and clear with your statement and it shouldn’t be an issue.

PS I’m definitely no admissions guru, just a little insight based on my experiences.
