<p>Bleach? I just started watching it a few weeks ago and it's amazing. On that point, anyone seen death note? I don't usually watch anime but these two are good.</p>

<p>lol, I read both mangas, I just watch the anime for comparison. I don't watch Naruto. I could never get into it. And I certainly don't like anime for girls.</p>
<p>I would venture to say that Love Hina does not qualify in the "for girls" category. I'm a girl and I love it, but my brother is also a fan (he introduced it to me). Girls will probably focus more on the story line while guys will focus more on the hot girls, but it's definitely worth it from both sides. Ken Akamatsu is amazing. </p>
<p>Bleach -- Have only seen a couple of episodes, but it looks like they did a fairly decent job on the dub.</p>
<p>Death Note -- Lovelovelovelovelove the manga. Have only been able to see the first two episodes of the anime, but love that too. </p>
<p>I don't download stuff, so I either watch things on my brother's computer, or wait until they come out in the US. As such, I am not completely up to date with most of these, though I am pretty much current with the US release. </p>
<p>Anyone seen Fullmetal Alchemist? It's one of my absolute favorites.</p>

<p>I'm loving Bleach, but haven't seen Death Note. I haven't read the mangas, as they read far too quick to justify the price to me.</p>

<p>Yeah, FMA is one of the few anime from the past decade that I can tolerate...</p>
<p>Bleach was okay, but it suffers now from Dragonball syndrome.</p>
<p>Dragonball syndrome is where anime plotlines begin to focus more on the "powering up" aspect than having an engaging story. Instead of having the character need to think of an original and creative way to defeat the bad guy, they instead yell a lot, make big flowing energy balls around themselves, and then increase their power level again. </p>
<p>This is okay and all, but it has limited viability as far as the plot goes. </p>
<p>There's also the fact that Bleach has tons of plot holes that bug me. It was still fun while it was fun, though.</p>

<p>FMA was bad because the ending was so retarded. Also the plot wasn't as great.</p>
<p>UCLAri- Bleach is done with its fillers and going back to manga story. So dragonball z syndrome should be gone.</p>
<p>Only thing i hate about bleach is ishida always has some retarded yet powerful technique that kills his opponent. </p>

<p>And what about the plot wasn't good? It was one of the tighter anime plots I've seen in a long time. Of course, that's not saying much, as most anime has very loose plotting.</p>
<p>And I was reading the manga back in Japan. Dragonball syndrome is problematic with the manga too.</p>

<p>I still say that FMA is one of the better ones out there. IMO, the plot was amazing and the ending was very appropriate. It fit the tone of the story and it wasn't "happily ever after" like some things. It gave the story closure while still leaving room for the movie. So give me some more details here, what exactly did you find wrong with it?</p>

<p>eh that reminds me...DBZ was the stuff until the end of the frieza saga...then it fell into that "syndrome." Personally, I think it should have ended with cell, although ssj3 and ssj4 were cool. Having another regeneration character and then...the mess known as GT really ruined things.</p>
