Hello everyone. I am a junior majored in management of information systems, with a minor major in finance. My GPA in these two degrees are both good and I decide to apply for a master in the grauate school. My GRE & Gmat is also satisfactory.
My question is:
1.My dream work falls into two groups, the first one will be IT consultant in consulting firm like accenture while the other is go to the wallstreet and work in a PE or VC field, anyway, a job in finance. However, it seems that the payment of the later job is more satisfactory. At the same time, my background in MIS is more competitive in terms of research and internship when compared the one in finance. So, what should I choose? which kind of master should I apply for?
2.Do you know some MIS master program ? So many business school doesn't have a master program for MIS except CMU. Can you provide more programs like CMU(replacement is excellent)?
Thank you for your advices.

CMU is #1 in MIS and is a "hidden gem" in finance. I know a few people at Accenture and though you touched on the pay thing, I think they enjoy their job a bit more on average.

As for other schools, perhaps MIT and Stanford?

thank you. you mean that people in accenture actually work happier than the ibank?
well, mit and stanford are excellent schools, however, they don't provide such a Master in MIS......

Yes, they are happier and have more free time (like inviting me to bars when they are free). When you factor the hours you work in banking, the pay/hour usually comes out to about the same.

thank you for your replies. Anyone who is also applying for MIS can give me some suggestions about the choices of schools?
