<p>Hello so I'm looking into Pharmacy School but I want to gain kind of knowledge/experience to see if that is really the field I truely want to get into. I can't actually work/ become a intern (personal conflicts) such as working in retail pharmacies or working in the UCLA ASHE Pharmacy. I heard from few people that you can volunteer in the pharmacy department at few of the UCLA hospitals so when I called them, they said in order to volunteer in the specific pharmacy department, I need to basically have connection or someone that can recommend me such as </p>
<p>1) know the staffs OR
2) know some of the volunteers who are actually in the pharmacy department.</p>
<p>And... Yeah I'm a first year and I actually commute back and forth so knowing a lot of connection was not in my favor and most of the friends I know are pre-med who are not really interested in pharmacy department. </p>
<p>I know this may sound a little rude but... anyone working in UCLA pharmacy department can tell me about themselves and what you guys actually do there...? ^^;</p>
