anyone who's gotten into an ivy with mediocre senior grades? :/

i really screwed up my senior year. i'm in 5 AP classes and things have been hectic. i started off with three B's first marking period and for second marking period, i have at least 2. possibly 3. however for my midterms, i really screwed up. i got straight A's except for one - my AP language course - i got a 77.

how much are these grades going to hurt me for these schools? for privacy purposes i wont post my stats, but i'm an overall pretty strong student - i've gotten into georgetown and the university of chicago so far to give you a vague idea. but i'm scared i really messed up my chances. has anyone gotten into these schools after getting mediocre senior grades like me?

I’m sure you’re fine… and attending George/Chicago isn’t something to complain about :p

chicago especially. I’d say it’s better than some of the ivies

Iagree Taggart. Chicago and Georgetown are awesome. Unless the OP is amining for HYP, I don’t see how she can get better acceptances.

no really, don’t get me wrong. those are two amazingggg schools, but i’m just wondering if i even have a decent chance anymore. my top choices are brown, columbia, and upenn wharton.
