yeah i called them and they told me this week. According to last year, the 25th is when people got waitlisted so yeah we’re waitlisted 
and its hard to get off according to big future: Offered place on wait list : 4,474
accepting wait list: 2,608

Well more that 276 will be accepted of the waiting list of 2608. But those are estimates. Budget cuts are wild right now so UCs may just be waitlisting a lot of people this year so maybe they’ll accept more off the waiting list
@worriedocollege my gosh, That is even harder to get in when your waitlisted, but then again its a hell of a lot better than being rejected
of course yeah, but we’ll see tomorrow then. Wherever we end up, we’ll be fine. Whats your second choice to SIR for now?

3.04 UC gpa , 2.7 weighted high school GPA. Accepted to CHASS for business economics. 1940 sat. I was accepted a while ago.

Ohh!! I need to keep in touch with you guys! I am also waitlisted to UCR with 3.2 GPA… I highly doubt they will accept me with my below average SAT and ACT scores :(.
I had a 3.05 unweighted and a 3.27 weighted and got in, if that helps. Although, my ACT was above average (29) so idk…I think that pulled a lot of weight.
I had a solid SAT and solid essays, and I’m not sure why they’d waitlist me for my secondary major. Oh well, UCs are messed up nowadays.
3.5 gpa solid everything except for my act of 22. I really dont understand why was I WAITLISTED?
