I took test #5 in BB2 yeaterday. I dont like scoring my own essay so I havent done that yet.
Im using Xiggi’s method-only real SAT questions. I’m making a journal with the questions I miss.

I did better on the Writing MC
CR dropped by 1 question and in math I missed 3 where as in the Online Practice Test I missed two and omitted 1. I made two dumb errors on math, one I didn’t go through each answer choice and on the other, one of the numbers I found didnt follow all the requirements. #17 on section 2 I found to be pretty hard.

I am, I took two practice tests. The first one I got a 610 CR, 530 MAth, and a 550 writing. ( assuming I get at least a 6 on the essay.). The second one I took I get an 800 CR, 500 Math, 570 writing (assuming I get at least a 6 on essay.). So 1870 is my highest…I really hope i can improve on math, and hope that one 800 CR wasn’t just a fluke. I have two weeks to study, plus i already have three tests the week after my SAt, two projects the week before, 3 homework chapters to outline… I am probably going to end up taking this test more than once, won’t be able to study enough for the math.

Got only 650 Cr, 550 Math , 600 writing in the practise test I took today. I am consistently hitting 1750 - 1850 on my prac tests. And I only got a week and a half left to study. argghh

Yes, you should check IceQube’s post. We all are working to get 2300 or, if we are lucky enough, 2400.

Understand why you got wrong is important. I scored same as you did about 15 days ago. And now my score fluctuates around 2200. Sometimes, because you are nervous or new to the test, you may make careless mistakes. That doesn’t matter too much; you only need to be more careful next time. But for the questions you don’t understand, you need to do everything to understand them, and by understanding them you gain more knowledge.

I just took number 5 and got a 2230 (700 CR, 730 M, 800 W) and I’m aiming for 2250+ or 2300+ in January. I understand all of the math I come across, and I am very good at math in normal settings (I’m doing very well in AP Calc BC junior year) but for some reason my math prowess doesn’t translate to the SAT. CR is mostly vocab, but I got DH on Friday so it should improve.
