Does anyone know about U Penn’s biochem program or the Vagelos Scholars Program for Molecular Life Sciences?

I think you just apply to be a chem, bio, biochem, orgo, etc. major and if you are good they will give you the opportunity to apply for the Vag. The program pretty much is a double major, or a submat. There's more to it than that, go to their website. The Vag is a really great program.

how does it compare (workload) to just being a chem major for example

Its definitely rigorous, you are completing two undergraduate majors or an undergraduate and graduate degree in four (maybe five) years. You'll likely spend a lot of time in the lab. That being said, I actually don't know how much a regular chem major works, so I can't give you a comparison (I'm Wharton).

ok thanks...

Stop calling it " the Vag."
