I am a junior about to finish the year off and filled with anxiety over the application process. I thought I had excellent ECs (four leadership positions in various extracurriculars, varsity sports, paid internship, CTY, various awards, 100+ hours community service etc), grades, and pretty good SAT scores (2200), but after seeing some of the stats on CC, I'm kinda shocked (HOW DO YOU GUYS DO IT ALL??? I BARELY HAVE ANY TIME MYSELF??).
Anyway, even though I already have a paid internship for the summer working for Media Relations at a university nearby and a job at Kumon, and a 2 week summer program at a college, I will definitely have extra time during the weekends. And I was wondering if there was anything else I can do to help my chances? Should I be doing more community service? Studying for a third SATs? Starting some kind of big project where I raise a lot of money?
I know a lot of people say, "do what you're passionate about." But in this case, I really don't know what to do with that information. For instance, I'm passionate about animals and I would love to volunteer at a vet's office, but apparently 17 is too young to do that (I've checked at the 3 places nearby). Any suggestions?

Dude, calm your tits.
Relax.

Half these guys on CC are trolls. You seem like a qualified candidate for elite schools.

Unless you do something drastic (like flying to Syria for a humanitarian mission or get arrested for assault), it REALLY does not matter what you do this summer. This will probably be one of the last summers you will have free, so enjoy it.

It really depends on what schools you are going to apply. You are a good candidate for most good schools but a bit short for top schools like Ivies or Stanford. If you want to try those top schools, then you may want to bring up your test score a little bit. Otherwise, you have a great chance for most of the top 50 schools.
