Anything wrong w/ getting MS EE w/o BS EE?

<p>I may do a BS math and coterm in MS EE (signals or controls) b/c it takes a year shorter than getting a BS+MS EE. I want to do research.</p>

<p>Do I lose anything by not having an ABET BS EE? I assume I can't get licensed then but is that a req only for infrastructure/legal work?</p>

<p>Will I be disadvantaged in applying for EE PHD? Government research labs? Industry RD? thanks!</p>

<p>I would be more concerneded about the EE qual or breadth requirements than licenses or applications. They’re kinda sorta intended for EEs.</p>
