AOG Lifetime membership

Do you cadets or graduates recommend signing up for the lifetime membership to the AOG? I want to but im not sure if it is better to do it after i graduate or while I am there.

i was about to ask the same thing.. what're the benefits? the packet they sent us wasnt tooo informative, so what're some current folks' experiences with the AOG?

From all the research I have done, the AOG is a fantastic organization. My only suggestion would be not to sign up with the lifetime membership for at least a couple of years. I.e. You sign up during BCT and a week later you break your leg and are medically set back. You've already paid a lifetime membership. Also; you spend 1 or 2 semesters at the academy and realize it isn't for you. You've paid for a lifetime membership.

At the very earliest, I would pay for it after your 2nd year. At that point it is when you've TRULY COMMITTED to the academy. It's at that point that you can't just change your mind and walk out. Me personally, I will suggest to my son that he wait until he getting ready to graduate the academy.
