I attend a new type of school where we complete most of the "regular" high school courses (I will have taken up the AP AB calc, pyshics chem eng 4 Us hist civ ecc etc. you get the picture) in the first two years and after that we take college courses, so even if i self study some APs I won't have as many as others, but I will have maybe 6-8 college courses. Is this going to help me, or be my downfall? Another thing that my school will change will be ECs, since I won't be in won't be able to do "high school" ECs for the second two years, but I will have more internships, etc. that and such and will participate in a lot more college activities. Is this going to be a good thing or bad thing?

internships > key club

My kids are in similar shoes... they'll have 14 or so 3-credit college courses, and since they go to a cyber school, there are no clubs, leadership opportunities, etc. I've been told by a few admissions people that provided your college scores are A's and not fluff, they look very favorably on this. Internships are great too, provided they really are internships and not "take your kid to work day."

Absolutely true about the internships...where I go everyone mongers after them like crazy, but only a few really mean anything.

Firsy of all I will have some regular E.Cs like Youth legislature for four years and have several for a year(10th mainly when clubs are formed, school formed during 9th grade) and I hope to have college activities like participating in events there and such, I mean basically for two years I will be only enrolled into college classes etc. Thanks for the responses.
