Is it not a good idea to take both of these classes in the same year? Is it too much history?

From someone who is taking both online, in addition to lit at school. I don’t think so at all. The content in art history is extremely european oriented, but the content still compliments one another nicely, however, not as much as art might might compliment ap euro.
The major concern for most might be too much writing, but I also don’t believe that is the case either, even taking lit at the same time. The essays written for each course are quite different, art essays are merely transcribing facts onto paper, whereas apush essays more closely resemble those of ap english/lit. As far as I’m concerned, I see no problem with taking the classes simutaneously. Personally I am having no trouble maintaining high A’s in both, and although this depends largely on the teacher, others should not either.

thank you!!

bump,
