AP Bio curve

anybody else think that the ap bio curve should be easy/lenient?
i hope so, seeing that nobody knew what cephalization and restriction maps or whatever were.
the mc was kindof hard too, esp the lab questions.

i hope the curve dips to around 88 for a five... X_X

I think the AP bio curve will be less this year because I heard the test last year was harder according to people at my school who got a 4 last year but wanted a five so took it again:/. Sad for us...I really hope I got a 5.

oh greatt. i really wanted a five too...:</p>

I have a feeling ALOT of people didn't know how to draw a plasmid map, or know alot about cephalization, so I think the curve will reflect that. I wouldn't make yourself crazy. Who needs a 5 anyway? A 4 is just as good, IMO.

i've been tyring to calculate, and like if i completely butchered the essays (which, seeing from other peopel's answeres i definately did), then i probably have a borderline 5...i just hope the curve is nice X_X
i have like a composite of 90 and like i think 91 or 92 is a five. But yeah i think al otta ppl didnt know #2 and #4.

how are you calculating a score without looking at the multiple choice questions? You can actually recall how many you think you got wrong/ommited?

No but i'm harshly approximating.
At the (hopefully) maximum, I get 20 wrong and 70 correct ( i THINK i skipped 10ish).
Hopefully i do better than that but i'm trying to be hard on myself. and then the essays, im thinking i'll get an 8 on the first one; a 2 (if the scorer's nice) on the second; a 6 on the third; and a 5 on the last.
:)

I've tried to do that, and my review book says mc * .75 while eveything else I find seems to say to multiply it by .9.

Which are you using?

its definitely .9.....the test recently changed from 120 mc to 100 mc and your prep book might not reflect that.

Yep gyros, its definately .9, my teacher even told me so :)
