AP Bio or AP Chem?

For pre-med at a university (University of San Diego, Loyola Marymount, and a few UC schools are my top choices) is there one I should take over the other? I took Chem Honors last year and I really liked it and got A's both semesters. I took Bio freshman year and got an A and B but I barely remember it. AP Chem at my school is harder than AP Bio.

Also I am stuck between AP Calculus AB and AP Statistics. I took regular PreCalc last year and found it pretty easy but I got a C in Algebra II the previous year. I'm worried that I wil have to spend all my time on Calc and not do good in my other classes.

I will be a senior and these are the classes I am taking:
AP Civics/Econ
AP Literature
AP Spanish 4
AP Statistics or AP Calc AB
AP Chem or AP Bio

I would prefer to take one science unless it would look better on college apps to drop Spanish and take two sciences.
Please give me any input you have! Thanks!

**Algebra II honors

Since you indicate you are pre-med, drop the Eng Lit, and take both AP Bio and AP Chem.
Also take the AP Calc.

I am sure you can get a written explanation form your guidance counselor that you dropped the Eng because you wanted to take the 2 Sci classes.

^ That might not work if OP needs a certain number of English credits for graduation. I would recommend dropping AP Spanish instead.

^ Agree. It would be terrible to miss the minimal requirement for some schools. Colleges like to see cores (English, math, science, social science) and sometimes even foreign language in all 4 year of high school even if your high school does not require that for graduation.

Yes I definitely cannot drop Lit. The only class I would drop is Spanish but I’m not sure if it would look better to have 4 years of Spanish or 2 sciences.
