AP bio or AP physic C mechanics?

I took 4 my junior year- chem, calc AB, us history, and comp sci. I know I will take AP calc BC, AP music theory, and AP psych for sure, but I don’t know if I should take AP bio or AP physics. I took physics this year and I find it to be interesting but I am not the best at it (I am okay at math but the abstractness takes me a while to understand sometimes). I took bio my freshman year and I was a lot better at it but it doesn’t relate to my intended major (computer science) and apparently at my school the class is boring (like the teacher isn’t very engaging and it feels more like a self-study). On the other hand, my physics teacher this year is also the only AP physics teacher and he is so cool. The AP physics class looks super fun cause they do interesting labs and also I plan on participating in the regional science fair with a topic that is more in the physics field (most likely focusing on sound waves). My heart is set on physics, but I know that I am not that great at it and I am kind of scarred from AP chem which was hell (mainly because my teacher was merciless with grading and also I was in marching band and had a LOT going on) so I wanted to ensure that I could recover my GPA with an easier class like AP bio. All the colleges I am applying to accept both credits if I score a 4 on the exams.

Would it be Physics 1, 2, C EM, or C EM+M?

@MYOS1634, the title of the thread states that OP is considering taking Physics C: M.

Ooops , correct!!! O:)
Physics C is hard, so go talk to your physics teacher and ask what you can do in order to maximize learning and keeping pain to a minimum in that class. How should you prepare over the summer?
Also, AP bio isn’t easy, per second, and it’s very time-consuming.

Well Mechanics is the easy half of Physics C. I don’t think it covers sound waves though (could be wrong). You don’t really need either for Computer Science but I think Physics would be more helpful because it will help you with problem solving which is necessary for Computer Science. I’m biased though because I like physics way better than I like Bio. Take bio if you really like memorization.

What do you want to major in?
If Engineering type things, then AP Physics.
If Pre-med/Bio type things, then AP Bio.
If liberal arts, then whatever one you would like.

thanks for the replies! I have switched my schedule to AP Physics C mechanics!
