Is your AP Biology course year-long? Mine is a one semester class and I came across this thread (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/ap-tests-preparation/441842-current-ap-bio-students-2.html) and realized it might not be the norm... eh?

How can you possibly have a semester-long AP bio class?

It's just the way it's done at my school. My AP US History class was also a one semester deal... I think that's normally year-long.

Mine is year-long. I have no idea how you can cover all of the subjects needed on the AP test in just one semester.

its possible. we started our class in january (with extra classes on fridays for 2 months) and we're on chapter 21.

do you guys have the block system where you do double classes for one semester and then switch or something like that?

it's yearlong at my school and everywhere else i've heard of

its year-long for us and we're on the block too.

It's yearlong for me too. I can't imagine cramming everything into only one semester!
