I'm taking AP Biology this year along with AP Chemistry. I have a bio test on Monday on 4 chapters (cell communication, cell cycle, the cell itself, membrane structure and function). Every time I have a test this big, I have a heck of a time trying to force myself to sit down and study.

I have an A in the class, but I need the A+ so that my grade can become an A+ to make up for all my A-s. Does anyone have any tips or ideas or something that you did/are doing to make yourself sit and study bio, AND retain the information. Please help me.

For AP Chem, I can study easier because 80% of my studying is doing all the homework problems again and 20% is reading the chapter and making sure I understand the concepts. However, I always get Bs and B+s on the tests. I have a 90% in that class. That makes me happy, because I'm always worried I'm going to get a C, but I have a fantastic teacher. I would be extremely happy if I can get an A next quarter, but I ALWAYS get the B or B+ on the tests. Last year, I did the same in Honors chem, but I always got As because the teacher offered 15pts of extra cred, which I did, but he was a horrible teacher. I'm sure that the reason I do bad, is that I think too hard on the questions. Most of my points are missed on multiple choice questions, especially because they are 2 points each. The same goes for AP Biology tests; I miss a lot of multiple choice, half because I don't know the answer, half because I think too hard so I miss the easy questions but correctly answer the difficult questions.

I don't know what to do, I really want to get an A in AP Chem at least and an A+ in AP Bio, but I don't know how to study efficiently to retain the information for the test, and future tests.
