alternations of generations really sucks, and I don’t think/hope it will be a FRQ, but you really just need to know the overall concept and the examples with it…
plants alternate generations, meaning both their sporophyte and gametophyte generations are multicellular, and that they alternate between n (gametophye) and 2n (sporophyte)…
sporophytes produce haploid spores, which grow by mitosis to make gametophytes, which produce gametes, which fertilize (just like human egg and sperm) to make a zygote, which grows into a sporophyte…
MOSSES - sporophyte depneds on dominant gametophyte
FERNS - 2 generations are indepedent of eachother, but sporopyte is larger
SEED PLANTS - gametophyte depends on dominant sporophyte

9: 30 here on the east coast… gonna turn in early to get a good nights sleep. good luck to everyone tomorrow. cant wait till, for the first time in 2 years, i can breath without thinking about oxidative phosphorylation in my mitochondria…

^Like!
10char

Idk if anyone said this yet.
BUT THIS GUY IS SAVING MY ASS
[YouTube - bozemanbiology’s Channel](http://www.youtube.com/user/bozemanbiology)

he makes everything sound so simple. so healpful

Good luck everyone
I get 100% extended time…I still think im going to get a 1 tho lol

So I’m done reviewing everything (almost done with plants) and now all I have to do are the body systems. Would you guys suggest watching the videos for the systems, or not?

I meant Bozemanbiology videos

How do you know if the DNA is 3’ or 5’? Probably won’t be anywhere on the test, but it wouldn’t hurt to know…

It goes in the direction 3’ -----> ‘5
The complement strand is Antiparallel meaning 5’--------->3’

Wait, but how do you know which side is which? Sorry if I’m ■■■■■■■■ :-(

EDIT: Oh, i get it now :D

For all taking 2002 exam

On 2002 exam i got 98/119, seemed easier than Princeton review .
A 5 would require that I averaged like a 3.5 on the essays lol

any ideas on possible FRQs?
ive heard of whale evolution, photosynthesis, and muscle contractions

My teacher was only able to lightly cover up until Biological Diversity in our class. We didn’t do any labs or practice any FRQ’s either. I’m taking past MC’s right now and scoring well on most of them except for the Hormone/Human function questions. I hope the FRQs are easy.

Thank the lord for bozemanbiology.

I AM SO SICK OF BIOLOGY! I’M GONNA PUKE! I’ve been reviewing for hours, ugh! and I still thing I’m gonna fail it miserably!

can anyone explain bacteria and the plasmid stuff, i’m confused about it

for the 10 minute reading period can we write on the inserts

I think we can write on the inserts.
omg I’m so tired of studying. At this point I just want a 3. My teacher is horrible and I’ve honestly been self studying.
Also, Bozeman is amazing I am so jealous of anyone who is in his classes.

anyone know which lab will probably most likely be on the for

I’ve heard it’s probably gonna be the photosynthesis one…

we can write on the insert. there’s no reason we can’t, they give them to our teachers anyways.

anyone know where theres a good biotechnology review video?

All labs are possible, except for maybe the drosophilia fly one, which was asked last year.
To counter all the negative teacher spirit, my teacher is actually really really good. 35+ years AP bio experience, fun, and I’m fully prepared to get a 5.
