AP Biology Credits?

I am attending Berkeley this fall at the College of Letters and Sciences, and I was wondering if you can get credit for Biology; I have other AP tests to study for, and I really doubt I will do well on the Bio test anyway, so I don't know if it's worth studying. On the website, only certain AP tests seem to be exempt, but on the AP Credits page for UC schools, it says "UC grants credit for all College Board Advanced Placement tests on which a student scores 3 or higher."

Do you guys know anything about this?

AP credit doesn’t really count for much at Berkeley except AP English Lit and AP Calc BC.

You get “credit” for taking the AP course, but you don’t really get to skip the class in most cases.

In most cases, you’ll have to check with both

a. the department of the subject of the AP test (e.g. Math for AP Calculus), and

b. the department(s) you intend to major in

to see if any given AP credit can help with subject or major specific course placement (rather than general College of Letters and Science requirements).
