AP Biology Exam/Premed, To take or not to take

Hi Guys,
So the AP Bio exam is on Monday and I am debating whether or not to take it. My preparation for it so far has been minimal. I'm planning on a premed track next fall with a non-science major. What I've gathered so far is that if I get a 5 on the Bio exam, I receive 1 c.u. for Bio 091 which isn't even "a brick and mortar" class at Penn. If I'm Pre-med and have to take all the 1 year required core science classes again + a few upper level bio classes anyways then would it be fine if I didn't take the AP Bio exam on Monday? Does a 5 on the AP Biology exam put me ahead of anything in terms of the premed track?

Thanks!

My friends in high school took the late exam (they skipped the regular test date to study more) and made 4s and 5s. If you don’t take it, you’re guaranteed not to receive college credit.
