AP Biology Review Book - aid throughout the course?

I'm interested in buying an AP Biology book to help me not only for the AP test next year, but primarily to help me throughout the year understand the concepts more as the class is more fast paced than the regular non ap classes. I decided to create this post because majority of the post i saw on the debate on which ap book to purchase was primarily focused on how similar the test is.

Is it a good idea to purchase either Barron's AP Biology 4th Edition, or CliffNotes AP Biology book (or any others, suggestions are more than welcome) in attempt to help myself out during the year with this course? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks

I’ve read thar both are really good. It’s mostly just personal preference that sets them apart.

I personally thought the Barrons was better

A lot of courses use the campbell’s biology book. If so, maybe their own study guide book that goes along with it might be a good choice.
