AP Biology scores help?

(is there any way to see how close i was to a 5?)

If I got a four on the test, do most colleges accept the credit?

No, there is no way.

edited please read again!

Many colleges accept 4 for some credit, though sometimes not as much as they would for a 5. Some colleges only accept 5’s, though.

how much impact does credit actually have? does it waive like a quarter or what?

The only way you will know what a 4 will get you:

 1. Check with the admissions office of your colleges of interest. They’ll tell you what they think the policy is.
 2. While you’re on the phone with admissions, as for the name of the dean/department chair/head of the biology department who actually decides if you get credit or not.
 3. After you’re accepted to a particular college, contact the person you learned about in 2 directly.
 4. If s/he doesn’t want to give credit, ask for an appointment, bring your labs, tests, whatever you have with you. Most of these guys will give credit to a persistent student with “evidence,” even if the “official” policy seems discouraging.

Until you have an idea of colleges and are actually accepted to one, don’t worry about it. Of course, if you really want to be a member of CC in good standing, you need to worry about things like this often and waay too soon :)
