I received a 5. The test was fairly easy. Nothing at all that I didn't have absolutely no idea on. I skipped 2 of the MC and had a solid understanding of most of the topics on the FRQ

I didn't get my score yet...but it was my first and only AP this year so I have no clue what to expect. Any other success stories?

Our class was really rushed and we didn't really -learn- anything, just stuffed a bunch of facts into our minds. Made it hard to connect the dots and see the bigger picture; you know the deal. Anyways, I was really surprised I got a 4.. I was expecting a 2, haha.

Yeah, I got a miracle 5. I felt like I had solid answers for the 2nd and 3rd FRQ and probably good answers for about half of the 1st one, but that 4th FRQ kicked my butt. I think I left a whole section blank. It was pretty bad. I remember feeling like the multiple choice asked different questions than I expected it to, but that I did decent.

I got a 5 but was expecting a 4. Did not lift a pencil after new years and did crosswords/played cards/played gameboy instead of listening to power points so I'm pretty happy with my 5 :D

I haven't gotten my scores yet but am very nervous, in our class we didn't really cover a lot of stuff much but i felt pretty good. The essays i felt like i easily got 20 or more points. But i am so nervous and am waiting for my scores in the mail

i got a 5, & i thought i bombed it. i self-studied, i felt really prepared until i opened up the free response! i flipped out & was literally gripping my pencil as hard as i could. i didnt finish the free response. i never really practiced much, but i have to give barrons all the credit. it really prepared me well for all that plant stuff.

I got a 5, and I seriously thought I got a 4.. I was so stressed, I'm guessing the curve was extremely generous

lol. i didn't call them. hopefully i'll get my score soon. ..hearing that the curve is generous is making me really happy

Yay I got a 5 :D I thought I had done pretty well, skipped a lot of MC (16-18) but did well on the ones I answered. And I wrote about 2 pages for all the FR.

Honestly I thought the exam was way easy. But my prep was also WAAAAAY overkill (because I like biology, so I'd sometimes get lost in it...oh well). I got a 5 on the exam.

I think I skipped 2 or 3 out of the 100 MC and nailed all the free response (except for one part of one question, where I didn't go into as much detail I should have). I took the form B exam this year, and there was almost NOTHING on plants on my exam...which I enjoyed. :)

got a 5, thought the test was easy too. i don't remember any big problems that i didn't know, i just kind of went along with it. i probably slacked off a little on the free response, after i realized that the curve was probably gonna help me anyway, and i didn't detail it very thoroughly.

AP Bio was the first AP I ever took, and I got a 5. It was easier than expected, but then again, I had a teacher that prepped me very well. I answered almost all of the multiple choice; most of it was knowledge application/basics, but there were a lot of plant things/random facts I didn't know (I hated plants, mind you :-P).

The essays weren't bad either, and with timing issues I messed up half of the last question - obviously it didn't matter too much. Keep in mind - the average score on the essays is 2-3 out of 10 points, which to me seems pretty low, especially when you can write whatever you know about the topic down without penatly for irrelevant information.

I used Barron's to prepare, and it was excellent - it explained everything well and had all the information needed without too many extraneous details.

I got a 5 in AP Biology...but it's worth noting that I took the late-testing paper (which is why I can't say much). I could answer most of the questions...and after the test I was pretty confident that I had enough to get a 5. In my class, we had actually finished most of the syllabus - except for some behavior and plant stuff - but honestly, you don't need to know everything to get a 5.

I would also like to take this oppurtunity to say that I believe AP Biology is one of the best prepatory exams in the area of Biology.

I went to Cambridge University for an interview for Biological Natural Sciences, and the first thing they asked was what exam I was taking for Biology. I told them AP Bio, and their response was "That's the best thing I've heard today". They believe that AP Bio is the most comprehensive biology exam (in English), better than IB Biology and A-Levels Biology. It's probably just the curve that makes people think it's easier, since a 5 is only about 66%, whereas a 7 in the IB is like an 80%. Trust me, I took IB Biology exams for practice - and especially in the m-c part, AP is so much better.

i was wondering if anyone took an alt-alt ap bio exam... b/c i had to take an alternate alternate, so around the 28th. and my college does not have my ap bio scores posted on my academic history profile (all other ap exams are posted)... so idk if i just got below a 4 on ap bio (which would not award me credit) or they haven't received my credits yet.

I got a 5- I thought is was a lot easier then I expected, especially the free response. There were a couple botany questions that I had no idea about though.

I got a 5. Never took the course. Thought the test was pretty easy. The only FRQ i had no clue about was the last one.
Skipped like 6-7 on the MC.

Got a 5 - thought I would get like a 4. Some of the MC I had no clue about, but I only left like 5-10 blank. Those red blood cell questions were murder, but they helped for the June SAT II :D The FRQ's were funky though - I was kinda iffy on the second one, but I wrote as much stuff that I thought was relevant for each question - around 2-3 pages for each. I wonder if the curve was reset this year...

I haven't got my score yet but it would be bad though :(
Our teacher didnt prep us for any plant, evolution, ecology and organ systems stuff. So basically i didnt know about 60% of the exam. Did some cramming with PR a night before. I was blank for the 4th FRQ and left about 20 MC, i am hoping for a 3. Bleh! Bio was my fav subject, why did my teacher ruined it!
Sighs...sorry got a bit carried away... any success stories?

I got a 5. I did not take a class for Bio.

I thought the Multiple Choice was pretty easy for the most part. As for the FRQ, I actually lucked out because I crammed in all the plant stuff a few days before. Like most people, I shot myself in the foot with that lab question. The rest of the FRQ was doable or easy.
