***AP Biology Thread 2015-2016***

@Chrysanthemum14 I think so! I asked around and everybody had different questions on the last part in my school! It was frustrating because I struggled to answer the extra questions they gave :stuck_out_tongue:

any predictions on the curve?
it seems they were multiple versions of the test though, both FRQ and MC

I didn’t have time to do any of the grid-ins… But i feel like I killed free response and multiple choice!

I wonder if it’s possible to get a 5 with 75%.

@SATsRuinLife
Maybe if your test was hard, then they may adjust it to 75%~

I thought a 5 was 80%? Hopefully 75% though!

Hoping for a big curve

Oh and I’d also add that I finished all the FRQs (nicely imo) but 1 of them I didn’t really attempt… I’m so upset and nervous and really disappointed. Although I shouldn’t be haha

http://www.apcalculator.com/calculator/biology.php here is a calculator to predict the score you got

On the practice exams, the mc was usually only 58 or 59. Does this mean there were 10 experimental questions on the test?

AHH THAT WAS HARD
MC was ok
I THOUGHT THERE WERE ONLY 6 FREE RESPONSE QUESTIONS??? So I wasted all this time only to have FIVE MINUTES to do three free responses AHHHH
probably got a 50% on the FRQ lollllllllllll fml -_-

@SugarSmarts
lol 6 frqs is calculus XD

The FRQs were nothing like anything that we have prepped for.

It was horrible.

@YoLolololol Omg hahaha…

I thought Form O FRQs were pretty fair to borderline easy. I thought two parts of two questions were a bit challenging but I sorta worked them out. I heard that Form D FRQs were pretty hard from the getgo though.

@horsesizedduck Yeah, the cladogram MC was a bit confusing. According to the data, none of them would have perfectly fit. I just picked which one I thought was the “closest”.

@Chrysanthemum14 There was one that definitely fit for that question

Overall, I felt like the MC was very easy and based more on logic/elimination of obviously incorrect answers than on strictly textbook biology knowledge. As for the FRQs, I tripped up on one part, but overall it wasn’t too bad. I think I got a 4, but I’m really hoping for a 5.

There was one set of questions in the end of the MC that I found extremely difficult. It was about pH and apparently I don’t know anyone else who had those questions.

@nerdmaster Yeah, I don’t remember any such question O_o

@nerdmaster i had that one.

Guys those frq’s seemed a lot easier than the 2013 test.RIP the curve.
