***AP Biology Thread 2015-2016***

Binary was 11100 I think

transcript length for prokaryotes was 15 kb right?

@luckydoggy1234 I got the same thing.

Anyone have a clue on the deer population thing

@luckydoggy1234 Of course you’re right, there’s no reason to mope around anymore. That doesn’t mean it’s still proper of them to focus on a few topics out of so many.

Does anyone know what ~9-13 wrong on MC and decent points on FRQ would get?

@latiere elaborate on “decent points”

@brixtonshifty86 Should be, because prokaryotes don’t have introns spliced out, so the original strand and the matured mRNA strand would be the exact same length.

@latiere I think you’d get a 5. No need to worry :slight_smile:

@latiere I came to the same conclusion as you on that question.

@wormholes Same to you, I just really hope for at least a 4. Decent for me is roughly earning at least more than half of the total value for each FRQ. - @j2000bly

@latiere earning half points for mc and half for frq is basically a 3, so you’d be better off with 4-5

i thought prokaryotes do not have introns. am i wrong?

@peachypo101 you’re right, prokaryotes don’t have introns

AND BASICALLY THIS YEAR’S AP BIO EXAM CAN BE DESCRIBED LIKE THIS Y’ALL: ARGGGGHHHHHHH

@peachypo101 I think your right. The question ask if you took the dna and inserted into the prok genome what would the length be of the mRNA.

Now here’s the stretch between getting test scores where we’re left to wallow in our misery and do endless calculations on apcalculator.com:slight_smile:

hey at least the curve will be be in our favor!!!

@snavea LITERALLY ME :frowning:

@latiere I REALLY hope so. A 4 would be ok, but a 5 would be ideal. Especially since last year I took AP Chem and got a 4, I want to do well in at least one science.

yup basically seeing the minimal amount you need right to get a 4 on apcalculator.com. argggg

I’m sitting here so mad at myself cus i messed up all the math questions except for 1 or 2. I managed to get a 4 on AP Chem, hoping for a 4 on this.
